PRECINCT CHANGES IN WARDS NINE, 
NINETEEN, AND TWENTY-TWO.

The following is a vote of the Board of Election Com- 
missioners taken under date of October 2, 1958: 

Voted, to decrease the number of precincts in 
Ward 9 from 10 to 9 in number. 

Voted, to decrease the number of precincts in 
Ward 19 from 17 to 16 in number. 

Voted, to decrease the number of precincts in 
Ward 22 from 17 to 16 in number. 

These changes, which will make a total of 278 precincts 
in the City of Boston, are set forth in the description 
forwarded to you under separate cover. 

The new precinct lines are to become effective for the 
'police listing of January 1, 1959.

Precinct 5. — Beginning at the junction of Tremont 
street and Parker street, thence through the middle line 
of Parker street to Ward street, thence through the 
middle line of Ward street to the roadbed of the New 
York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad, thence along 
said roadbed to Camden street, thence through the 
middle line of Camden street to Tremont street, thence 
through the middle line of Tremont street to Cabot 
street, thence through the middle line of Cabot street to 
Whittier street, thence through the middle line of I- 
Whittier street to Downing street, thence through the 
middle line of Downing street to Vernon street, thence 
through the middle line of Vernon street to Simmons 
street, thence through the middle line of Simmons 
street to Linden Park street, thence through the middle 
line of Linden Park street to Elmwood street, thence

line of Boylston street to Adelaide street, thence through 
the middle line of Adelaide street to Spring Park avenue, 
thence through the middle line of Spring Park avenue to 
Clive street, thence through the middle line of Clive 
street to Boylston street, thence through the middle line 
of Boylston street to roadbed of the New York, New 
Haven & Hartford Railroad, thence along said roadbed 
to Atherton street, thence through the middle line of 
Atherton street to Mozart street, thence through the 
middle line of Mozart street to Chestnut avenue, thence 
through the middle line of Chestnut avenue to Forbes 
street, thence through the middle line of Forbes street 
to Centre street, thence through the middle line of 
Centre street to point of beginning. 

Precincts 3 to 16 remain unchanged. 

Old Precinct 17 becomes new Precinct 2.
